My Food Adventure

I am Funke Koleosho, a Gourmand award winning (Nigerian) Cookbook author
and also the creator of a multifunctional iPhone/iPad cooking App (Cook! Nigerian),  which contains a range of traditional and fusion Nigerian/West African recipes, first ever calorie counter for West African food, Information on healthy eating and more. 

As you might have guessed, I am passionate about food and cooking!. Through this blog, we will journey and discover together the exciting tastes and flavours of West African cuisine, in particular, Nigerian Cuisine. 

It will be all about, and strictly so, West African food ONLY!!!! just because this is my area of specialism. We will focus on health, well-being, creativity, and innovation in preparation and presentation. 

I am open so watch out for some unexpected ingredient fusion(s) and combinations. It will be so much fun.....

About me: - I hold a B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Food Science & Technology and worked with multinational food companies such as Cadbury Nigeria Limited and Guinness Nigeria Limited. I have had some extensive and varied work experience in different industries in various capacities such as marketing/sales, administration and management. 

I am currently a Food Consultant advising restaurants and catering services on issues relating to food production, menu design health and safety, and social entertainment. I also write Food Articles / Features for leading magazines and on-line blogs, and on-line magazines.
